Lanes Shut on Fifth Ring Road from April 30 For 14 Days

KUWAIT CITY, April 29: The General Traffic Department has announced the temporary closure of three left-hand express lanes on Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road in the direction of the Qurtoba area.

The closure will affect traffic from Salmiya heading towards Jahra, and will come into effect starting at dawn on Thursday, April 30, 2026.

According to the department, the partial road closure will remain in place for a period of 14 days. Motorists are advised to exercise caution, follow traffic instructions, and use alternative routes where possible to avoid congestion.
