KUWAIT CITY, Nov 21: The Traffic and Operations Sector has announced the closure of the left (fast) lane in both directions on King Faisal Road (Route 50) in Khaitan. The closure will begin at the intersection of Ibrahim Al-Muzain Street and King Faisal Road and extend towards Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road (Fifth Ring Road).

The lane closure is scheduled to start at dawn on Saturday, November 22, 2025, and will remain in effect for 21 days.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution, follow traffic signs, and consider alternative routes during this period. The Traffic and Operations Department continues to monitor the area to ensure smooth traffic flow.

Meanwhile, Arabian Gulf Street will be fully open from the intersection of the Kuwait Society of Engineers to the intersection of the Second Ring Road with Al-Arabi Street, starting Friday, November 21, 2025.

Authorities have announced that the street will be closed again at a later date, and the specific date for the closure will be communicated in advance.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and follow updates from traffic authorities.
