KUWAIT CITY, Jul 9: Kuwait's Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN), in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior's General Department of Criminal Investigations, has shut down an unlicensed food facility operating as a restaurant inside a private residence in Farwaniya Governorate.

The raid, carried out by PAFN's Inspection Department in Farwaniya, resulted in the detection of multiple violations. Authorities issued several violation reports and initiated all necessary legal procedures against those responsible.

PAFN urged citizens and residents to avoid purchasing food from unlicensed establishments that operate outside the authority's regulatory oversight, stressing that such facilities may pose risks to public health.

The authority reiterated that food safety is a shared responsibility and called on the public to support efforts aimed at ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
