KUWAIT CITY, May 31: Kuwait’s Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has announced reduced official working hours for its employees during the summer season, with the new schedule taking effect from June 1 to August 31, 2026.
According to an administrative circular issued by the authority, daily working hours will be reduced by one hour, bringing the total workday to six hours. The move is aimed at regulating working hours during the summer months and fostering a more efficient and flexible work environment.
Under the revised schedule, the attendance verification period will run from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., while employees will be allowed to leave after completing six hours of work.
The circular also grants employees a 30-minute grace period for attendance beyond 8:00 a.m., in line with the authority’s flexible working arrangements.
The summer schedule will remain in effect until August 31, after which normal working hours are expected to resume.
