Kuwait’s PIC launches Future Leaders Academy to empower youth
Kuwait’s Petrochemical Industries Company launches Future Leaders Academy to foster creativity and innovation among next-generation leaders.

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 28: The Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) announced Tuesday the launch of its Future Leaders Academy, a program designed to empower youth, foster creativity and innovation, and prepare the next generation of leaders in Kuwait’s petrochemical sector.

In a statement to KUNA, PIC said the initiative is part of its distinguished social responsibility programs and represents an extension of the company’s long-standing efforts in community activities and sustainable development projects.

The first session of the academy targets students from Kuwait University, Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), and Kuwait Technical College, offering a comprehensive curriculum of workshops, presentations, and dialogue sessions with leaders of the petrochemical industry in Kuwait.

The program aims to provide participants with in-depth knowledge of PIC and the broader petrochemical sector, insights into the modern work environment, and the essential skills required to succeed in the labor market. It will conclude with a field visit to the company’s facilities, giving students the chance to experience advanced technologies firsthand, enhance practical skills, and explore new professional development opportunities.

PIC emphasized that the academy offers direct communication with industry experts and leaders, promoting inspiration, personal growth, and professional development. The initiative also seeks to stimulate initiative and excellence among youth while raising community awareness about the importance of key productive sectors and their role in national development.

The company highlighted its decades-long commitment to youth empowerment through collaborations with universities and educational institutions, offering field training in engineering, chemistry, management, and petrochemical manufacturing technologies.

Through the Future Leaders Academy, PIC aims to cultivate inclusiveness, creativity, and innovation among young leaders, supporting community development and equipping a generation capable of meeting future challenges and driving sustainable development in Kuwait.
