KUWAIT CITY, May 24: The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has announced the cancellation of residential addresses of 427 individuals from its official records, according to a notice published in the official gazette “Kuwait Alyoum”.
The authority said the cancellations were made either based on declarations submitted by property owners or due to the demolition of residential buildings linked to the registered addresses.
PACI stated that individuals affected by the decision are required to update their residential information by registering a new address or correcting their data through the Sahel mobile application, along with the necessary supporting documents. The update must be completed within 30 days of the date of announcement.
The authority warned that failure to update address details within the specified period will result in penalties under Article 33 of Law No. 32 of 1982, which includes a fine of up to 100 Kuwaiti dinars, with additional penalties applicable based on the number of persons involved.
Officials emphasized the importance of maintaining accurate civil records and urged residents to ensure timely updates to avoid legal consequences.
