KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: In a clear demonstration of the authorities’ commitment to advancing one of Kuwait’s most significant infrastructure projects, the Central Agency for Public Tenders has set November 30, 2026, as the final deadline for completing all work on the new passenger terminal (T2) at Kuwait International Airport. This includes the latest modifications approved by the Ministry of Public Works last week.
The deadline follows the agency’s approval of several change orders submitted by the Ministry, which involved updates to the scope of work in the main terminal building, service facilities, and access roads, ensuring the project continues to progress according to the established schedule.
Sources confirmed to Al-Anbaa that this step reflects close monitoring of the project’s progress, emphasizing that the authority’s insistence on setting firm deadlines underlines its commitment to timely completion. The project is considered a key pillar in enhancing the airport’s operational capacity and improving the quality of services provided to passengers.
With the adoption of the recent amendments, the T2 terminal project is reported to be progressing steadily toward completion on schedule.
