Kuwait’s National Deaf Futsal Team Draws with Japan in Asia Pacific Federation Championship

KUWAIT CITY, May 2: In the ongoing Asian-Pacific Federation Championship held in Tehran, Kuwait’s deaf futsal team tied with Japan’s team, each scoring a goal. Nasser Amer was the sole scorer for Kuwait, and the match was witnessed by Kuwait’s ambassador to Iran, Badr Al-Munaikh, and diplomat Fawaz Al-Dhafiri.
In the previous day’s game, Kuwait’s national team secured a victory against Kazakhstan by scoring three goals against their opponent’s two. Nasser Amer was responsible for Kuwait’s first and second goals, while Faisal Saleh scored the third. The team is set to face Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan on Thursday and Friday, respectively.
The tournament’s teams have been divided into two groups. Group one consists of Iran, Thailand, Iraq, Malaysia, and China, while group two comprises Kuwait, Japan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. (KUNA)
