Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs attends Pakistan Day celebrations

KUWAIT CITY, March 23: Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al- Mohammed Al-Sabah attended the military parade that took place in the friendly Islamic Republic of Pakistan to celebrate (Pakistan Day) on the occasion of its Diamond Jubilee of Independence.

The parade was attended by the Pakistani President, Prime Minister and foreign ministers participating in the Ministerial Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in addition to the participation of a guest Honor in the Islamic meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly People’s Republic of China.

The Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser met Wednesday with Mauritanian counterpart Ismael Ould Cheikh Ahmed. The meeting involved discussions of bolstering and developing bilateral ties in various fields, as well as latest developments in regional and international fronts. The Foreign Minister met with Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbayev, on sideline of 48th Organization of Islamic Cooperation ministerial session, taking place in Pakistani capital of Islamabad. The meeting discussed boosting and developing bilateral ties in various fields, latest regional and international developments. (KUNA)
