DOHA, Jan 20 (KUNA): Kuwait’s men’s trap team clinched gold at the Asian Shotgun Championships 2026 in Qatar on Tuesday. The victorious trio of Abdurrahman Al-Faihan, Khaled Al-Mudhaf, and Nasser Al-Miqlid topped the finals, with host nation Qatar taking silver and the UAE claiming bronze.
On the individual front, Al-Faihan also secured a bronze medal. Meanwhile, Kuwait’s women’s team—Shahad Al-Hawal, Sarah Al-Hawal, and Reem Al-Zamanan—added another bronze to the country’s medal tally.
The championship, held at the Lusail Shooting Complex in Doha, features 196 shooters from 17 nations competing for top honors. The event began last week and continues through January 21.
