KUWAIT CITY, May 18: On Sunday, the Ministry of Justice announced a new service allowing users to submit requests for arrest and summons through the unified government e-services application, Sahel.
In an official press statement, the Ministry explained that the service has been added to the list of remote execution services, enabling creditors to file electronic requests for the arrest and summons of debtors who have defaulted on payments. Users can also monitor the progress of their requests through the platform.
The General Department of Enforcement will review each request to ensure it meets the legal requirements for issuing arrest and summons orders before proceeding with any action.
The Ministry noted that this feature is part of a broader range of services provided by the General Department of Enforcement through the Ministry of Justice's digital platform on the Sahel app.
