KUWAIT CITY, Oct 13: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Islamic Affairs announced on Sunday the official opening of registration for the upcoming Hajj season 1447 AH, starting Monday at 10:00 a.m. Registration is accessible exclusively through the government’s unified electronic services platform, the Sahel application.

According to the ministry’s statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the registration window will remain open until 10:00 a.m. on November 22, allowing prospective pilgrims to apply for the sacred journey.

The ministry clarified that the selection of pilgrims will be conducted via a lottery system, which will be applied based on sorting results for this Hajj season as well as future seasons, ensuring a fair and transparent allocation process.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs urged all interested individuals to register promptly and follow the guidelines outlined in the Sahel app to secure their chance to perform the pilgrimage.
