KUWAIT CITY, March 14: The Executive office of Arab Sports for All Federation recommended Kuwait’s Hamed Al-Hazeem to be federation’s first vice-president. The recommendation took place in a meeting held on Tuesday in Kuwait on occasion of hosting ninth Arab Sports for All festival in the country. Al-Hazeem spoke of the constructive role of sports in societies, saying it promotes both physical and mental health, and thus they are working on intensifying union activities and encouraging noncompetitive sporting events.
He extended thanks to State Minister for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutari for unwavering support for both Arab and Kuwaiti sport federations, as well as Kuwaiti youth for organizing this festival.
On his part, Chief of Arab Sports for All Federation Dr. Emad Al-Banani stated that recommending Al-Hazeem with his valuable expertise is a significant addition to the federation. Al-Banani called for more support to Sports for All, noting the Kuwaiti federation’s support embodied in hosting the festival. (KUNA)
