Kuwait’s Girls’ Rhythmic Gymnastics Team Wins 6 Medals in Georgian International Championship

KUWAIT CITY, March 28: The Kuwaiti girls’ rhythmic gymnastics team has had an outstanding performance at the Georgian International Championship, which ended two days ago, with a total of 6 medals won – 3 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze.

Nabila Al-Kharafi and Sarah Al-Bannai were the team’s top performers, each earning 3 medals. Nabila, born in 2013, won two gold medals in the general individual competition and ball performance, as well as a silver medal in free performance, all in the first level. Sarah, born in 2012, won the gold medal in the scepter competition, the silver medal in the hoop performance, and the bronze medal in the general individual for professional women in the first level. Although Al-Qassar put on a good performance, they were not as fortunate in the competition.

The technical director of the federation, Muhammad Abdul Rasoul, commended the Kuwaiti girls on their success and credited the federation’s preparation plan for the national team as the reason for their achievement.
