KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27, (Agencies): In a significant development, the inaugural evening school for male inmates within correctional institutions was officially launched this morning, graced by the presence of key leaders from the Ministry of Interior. Maryam Al-Anazi, the Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Development and Activities at the Ministry of Education, delivered an address during the opening ceremony, expressing her satisfaction with the auspicious occasion.

Education Ministry opened the first evening school for male inmates in correctional institutions.

She remarked, "I am pleased to address you on this blessed occasion, marking the commencement of an evening center dedicated to imparting the prescribed curricula for intermediate and secondary education levels to inmates of correctional institutions." Al-Anazi emphasized that this initiative is a tangible outcome of collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Education and the General Administration of Correctional Institutions, aligning with their noble mission to provide quality and equitable education opportunities for all citizens of the country, without exception or discrimination.

She underscored the belief that education is a fundamental right for every individual, serving as a key catalyst for development, progress, and societal peace.
