Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah during a visit to the Kuwaiti Hajj Mission in Al-Naseem, Makkah, reviewing preparations for pilgrims.
MAKKAH, May 25: Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah visited the Kuwaiti Hajj Mission headquarters at the Four Points Hotel in Al-Naseem, Makkah, on Monday to inspect operations and preparations for serving Kuwaiti pilgrims. In a press statement, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef stated that the visit was carried out on the directives of the country’s political leadership to ensure the smooth functioning of the mission and the quality of services provided to Kuwaiti pilgrims.
He conveyed the greetings and instructions of the leadership to facilitate all needs of the pilgrims and ensure they can perform their rituals with ease and comfort. The minister commended the high level of organization, readiness, and efficiency of the mission’s staff, which reflects the commitment to providing the best care for Kuwaiti pilgrims. He also thanked Saudi authorities for the extensive facilities and support provided to serve pilgrims and ensure the success of the Hajj season. During the visit, he was briefed by the Head of the Kuwaiti Hajj Mission, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Engineer Dr. Suleiman Al- Swailm, on organizational plans, pilgrim movement between holy sites, and field efforts to deliver the best services. Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef was accompanied by Kuwait’s Consul General in Jeddah and its Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Yousef Al-Tunaib. (KUNA)
