Kuwaiti Officials Conduct Airport Security Inspection Led by Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef.

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 8: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef conducted an inspection tour of Kuwait International Airport today, accompanied by Major General Mansour Al-Awadhi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Port Security Affairs, and several security leaders. The purpose of the visit was to assess the preparations and readiness of security personnel stationed at the airport.

During the tour, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef visited various areas of Kuwait International Airport, including passenger terminals T1, T4, and T5, as well as the ceremony hall. He received briefings on the operational procedures at passport counters for departures and arrivals, the visa issuance hall, and the coordination mechanisms between the Ministry of Interior, the General Administration of Customs, and the General Administration of Civil Aviation.

Following the inspections, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef provided feedback and emphasized the importance of implementing any necessary improvements. He stressed the importance of utilizing all available resources to ensure smooth transactions for travelers and to enhance the level of security preparedness to swiftly address any security issues or deficiencies, thereby safeguarding the safety of all individuals at the airport.
