KUWAIT CITY, Mar 31: Inspection teams from the Kuwait Ministry of Commerce and Industry carried out field visits to a number of shops and grocery stores, issuing 35 violation reports for various breaches of regulations.

The ministry said the most notable violations included failure to use the Arabic language on invoices, organizing promotional offers without prior approval, refusal to provide invoices, and عدم specifying the type of meat used in menus.

Two warnings were also issued to grocery stores that failed to comply with regulations governing the sale and distribution of energy drinks. Inspectors additionally detected one outlet displaying and selling subsidized goods illegally, with legal action taken against it.

In a separate campaign, inspection teams in Ahmadi Governorate conducted checks on women’s health clubs, juice and refreshment outlets, and grocery stores to ensure compliance with energy drink regulations. The campaign resulted in four warnings, including three issued to women’s health clubs.

The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying inspection efforts to ensure compliance with regulations and protect consumer rights.
