Kuwait's artistic gymnastics teams begin their training camps

TBILISI, Aug 13:  Kuwait’s men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics teams have launched training camps in Georgia as part of their preparations for the upcoming West Asian Championships in Jordan.

The camps, which run from August 12 to 30, are designed to enhance the gymnasts’ technical and physical readiness ahead of the regional competition.

Both delegations arrived in Tbilisi to begin their preparations. The men’s delegation is headed by Kuwait Gymnastics Federation Treasurer Nasser Al-Halafi and includes team administrator Khaled Al-Muthen, Ukrainian coaches Vitaly Arseniev and Vitaly Arseniev, and 11 gymnasts: Abdullah Behbahani, Saud Al-Radaini, Ahmed Al-Radaini, Mohammed Al-Radaini, Saud Al-Sanawi, Othman Al-Hajil, Fazza Al-Hajil, Hassan Al-Sarraff, Abdulaziz Al-Sarraff, Abdullah Al-Farhan and Youssef Al-Mazid.

The women’s team is also holding its camp in Georgia over the same period. The delegation is led by federation Assistant Secretary-General Dhaar Al-Shammari and includes administrator Rabab Al-Hares and eight gymnasts: Al-Zain Al-Qattan, Jouri Bouhamad, Kadi Al-Awad, Shawq Al-Houli, Maha Al-Najdi, Fatima Behbahani, Bibi Abbas and Maria Al-Mazid.

The federation said the camps reflect its commitment to providing the national teams with comprehensive preparation. The intensive program focuses on refining technical skills, improving fitness, and enhancing stability, accuracy, and consistency in executing routines.
