KUWAIT CITY, Feb 24, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Tuesday a congratulatory cable from the His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on occasion of the 65th National Day and 35th Liberation Day. In the cable, His Highness the Crown Prince wished the Amir good health and the people of Kuwait further progress and prosperity.

He recalled the sacrifices of those who gave their lives for their country and for its development. His Highness the Crown Prince renewed vows and determination to continue working towards expanded horizons, and more achievements under the astute leadership of His Highness the Amir.

His Highness the Amir sent a response cable to the Crown Prince, thanking him for his sincere sentiments. His Highness the Amir evoked the memory of the martyrs, whose sacrifices will remain immortalized in history. He wished His Highness the Crown Prince good health and well being, and for the state of Kuwait safety, security and affluence, as well as further ambitious developmental achievements.
