KUWAIT CITY, May 29: Kuwait’s Hamad Al-Hadad finished first in his category while his compatriot Fares Ramadan was the runner-up in the amateur contest at the MotoSurf World Championship held in Germany, as the first round of the event drew to a close. Attributing the Kuwaiti athletes’ achievements to the support they’re given at home, Kuwait Sea Sport Club chief Mohammad Al-Zanki said the contest featured more than 100 competitors from 32 countries, ahead of the next round slated for next month in Italy.
