Kuwait’s Al-Fouzan clinches gold

Kuwaiti triathlete Abdul-Mohsen Al- Fouzan won first place (gold medal) in the junior category of the International Triathlon Championship, which is currently being held in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Al-Fouzan raised the flag of Kuwait in the international forum – the first junior category participation in international tournaments. In a press statement, President of Kuwaiti Triathlon Club and Federation Rashid Al-Kandari congratulated the athlete on this great achievement, which confirms the status of Kuwaiti champions and their ability to compete with world renowned triathletes.

Al-Kandari pointed out that the Kuwaiti Triathlon Club and Federation are keen on equipping and preparing the Kuwaiti athletes before participating in any Arab, continental or international championships, in order to be honorable and befitting representatives of Kuwaiti sports. He wished for the success of all local athletes in foreign competitions.
