Kuwait’s Al-Enzi wins gold medal at 4th Asian Youth Para Games

MANAMA, Dec 4: Kuwait’s disabled table tennis team player Malak Al-Enezi snatched the gold medal Saturday after beating her Thai counterpart 3-1 in the final held in Manama at the 4th Asian Youth Para Games currently hosted by Bahrain. Kuwait Paralympic Committee Secretary General Sherifa al-Ghanim said in a press statement that Al-Enezi make brilliant and excellent performance which enabled her to reach the final match and win the first position.

This progress made by Al-Enezi shows those who have insistence and determination to represent Kuwait in an honorable way at the global and Asian championships, al-Ghanim added. Meanwhile, Al-Enzi expressed her delight at obtaining the first place and the gold medal. She dedicated this achievement to Kuwait’s people and sports family, affirming that she would keep this distinguished level. The event features six Kuwaiti players and more than 1,500 others aged under 20 years.(KUNA)
