Kuwait’s Al-Abdullah ‘finishes’ 3rd in Arab tennis tournament

BEIRUT, Aug 14 : Kuwaiti tennis player Bader Al-Abdullah on Sunday came third in the Arab men’s tennis tournament organized by the Lebanese Tennis Federation at Broumana Sports Club. Al-Abdullah made this achievement after defeating the Egyptian player Mohamad Gomaa in straight straights 6-4, 6-2. He also won the Best Sportsmanship Cup in the tournament.

Tunisian player Moez Al-Sharqi was ranked first after beating the Lebanese player Hadi Habib in the final match,6-4, 7-6. Al-Abdullah told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that his participation in the Arab tournmnet gave him the opportunity to play with the best tennis players in the Arab world. Eight elite players from Lebanon, Egypt, Kuwait, Tunisia, Jordan and Syria partook in the tournament. (KUNA)
