‘Kuwaitis suffer injustice regardless that law is fair’

KUWAIT CITY, July 27: MP Safaa Al-Hashim said some citizens suffer from injustice in legal matters, disclosing she sent a message through Instagram that she is available for those who suffer from legal obstacles and ready to solve his case by communicating with her through telephone and within the framework of the law, reports Al-Anba daily.

Al-Hashim asserted her experience has been proven, indicating some misunderstood the role of the lawmaker. She affirmed that if a law graduate passes all the tests and was not accepted in the Fatwa and Legislation Department, she will ensure that the government gives him a place.

She promised to act without trespassing or usurping the role of others. As for her experience in receiving calls from citizens, Al-Hashim explained that her experience is useful and calls did not stop even on her personal phone.

She indicated that through the experience, she was able to deal with cases of injustice. She added, “There are a lot of pleasant situations and parties in this experience. Someone called me saying ‘I have been in love with a woman for five years but my mother is against my plan to marry her… Can you please to talk to my mother?’”
