DUBAI, Feb 14, (KUNA): Kuwait's team secured three medals—gold, silver, and bronze—at the 15th Fazza International Para Athletics Grand Prix. Nasser Al-Ajmi, the head of the Kuwaiti delegation, shared with KUNA that Ahmad Al-Mutairi clinched gold in the 100m wheelchair race (F33), Faisal Sorour earned silver in 'F42,' and Faisal Al-Rajhi secured bronze in the 1500m race (T54).

This achievement follows the 17 medals previously won by Kuwaitis at the 12th Sharja Para Athletics Forum, which concluded approximately a week ago, Al-Ajmi added. As the vice president of Kuwait Disabled Sports Club, he emphasized the club's commitment to enabling its athletes to participate in international sports events, fostering skill development and acquiring valuable expertise.The ongoing three-day tournament showcases 600 male and female athletes from 74 countries.
