Kuwaitis rescued from slit

KUWAIT CITY, June 27: Acting on information firefighters rushed to the Doha Beach and rescued two Kuwaitis and their vehicle got stuck in silt off the beach, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The Public Relations and Media Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department said after the operations room received a report that two people were stuck in their vehicle off the beach, personnel from the fire rescue department rushed to the spot and succeeded in pulling the vehicle out of the silt.

The fire administration has appealed to citizens and residents not to approach the muddy area of the Sulaibikhat Beach due to the recurrence of similar incidents. Both men were reportedly unhurt.
