Kuwaitis holding Hajj permits only can enter Makkah area

JEDDAH, May 2: The Consulate General of Kuwait in Jeddah urged on Thursday all Kuwaiti citizens wishing to perform the Umrah pilgrimage that the deadline to enter Makkah will be on Friday, May 1, 14 Thu Al- Qi’dah 1447 AH. The consulate emphasized in a statement that the final departure from Makkah should be no later than the end of Saturday, 15 Thu Al-Qi’dah 1447 AH, May 2. It added that entering Makkah is only allowed for those holding a Hajj permit or Makkah entry permit issued by the relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia, starting from Saturday, 15 Thu Al-Qi’dah 1447 AH, May 2, until the end of this year’s Hajj season. The consulate stressed the importance of full compliance with these instructions and decisions regarding the Hajj season of 1447 AH, issued by the competent authorities in Saudi Arabia. (KUNA)
