AMMAN, July 18: The Kuwaiti Olympic Committee congratulated the champions of the Kuwait judo team for their exceptional performance at the West Asian Judo Championship for youth and juniors, held in Amman, Jordan.

Muhammad Ali clinched the gold medal in the under-100 kg category, Shehab Al-Salman secured gold in the under-90 kg category, Fahd Al-Anazi earned bronze in the under-73 kg category, Anas Buqmaz took bronze in the under-81 kg category, and Yousef Al-Barrak won bronze in the under-60 kg category.

In the junior category, Khaled Al-Kandari captured gold in the under-60 kg weight class, Abdullah Al-Dehani won gold in the under-90 kg weight class, Hussein Mahawish achieved gold in the under-90 kg weight class, Anas Buqmaz secured gold in the under-81 kg weight class, and Mishari Adel took silver in the under-66 kg weight class. Additionally, Ali Al-Ramzi won silver in the under-55 kg weight class, Sultan Al-Otaibi earned bronze in the under-50 kg weight class, Turki Al-Anazi took bronze in the under-81 kg weight class, and Saud Al-Anazi captured bronze in the under-60 kg weight class.
