Kuwaitis commend security forces for thwarting ISIS terrorist plot

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 27: In a show of unwavering confidence, Kuwaiti citizens commend their security services for successfully monitoring and neutralizing ISIS elements attempting to carry out terrorist bombings in Shiite places of worship.

Emphasizing national unity, citizens, both Shiites and Sunnis, stand united against attempts to sow discord, acknowledging the equitable approach of Kuwaiti rulers throughout history.

During discussions with the Al-Seyassah newspaper near the Imam Hussein Mosque, Kuwaiti citizens expressed solidarity, asserting that Kuwait’s diverse population, including Sunnis, Shiites, Bedouins, and Hadhras, are one cohesive entity.

Despite suspicions about external influences, particularly from the Zionist entity, citizens are resolute that Kuwait, with its capable security services, remains a haven against terrorism.

Praising Kuwaiti intelligence, Khaled Al-Tamimi lauded the security forces’ vigilance in arresting the terrorists before executing their plans. Malek Abu Hamza echoed this sentiment, affirming Kuwait’s commitment to security and safety under the leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Sabah.

The Kuwaiti people, buoyed by the swift action of security forces, attend Friday prayers without fear, confident in the protection afforded by both divine intervention and robust security measures. Muhammad Taqi, recalling past incidents, emphasized the importance of maintaining lessons learned to prevent the recurrence of such threats.

Ahmed Ashkanani, expressing gratitude for the security and safety in Kuwait, suspected the involvement of external forces, pointing to Kuwait’s staunch support for the Palestinian cause. Despite these challenges, citizens underscored the enduring strength of national unity and called for curriculum amendments to further enhance cohesion.

Muhammad Al-Tamimi concluded by asserting that such terrorist attempts will not weaken Kuwaiti unity, highlighting the historical efforts of rulers to strengthen national unity. The citizens collectively pray for continued blessings of security and stability in Kuwait.
