Kuwaitis Can Now Activate Their E-Signature Directly via Huwaiti App

KUWAIT CITY, Jul 9: Kuwait's Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has introduced a new mechanism allowing users to activate the electronic signature service directly through the Huwaiti application, eliminating the need to visit self-service kiosks.

The new digital service is part of PACI's ongoing efforts to enhance government digital services and simplify procedures for users.

During the initial phase, the service is available exclusively to Kuwaiti citizens, with plans to extend it to additional user categories in future phases.

To activate the electronic signature through the Huwaiti app, users must have a Civil ID, a passport, and access to the Huwaiti application. PACI said the initiative is designed to make electronic authentication faster, easier, and more convenient for beneficiaries.
