Kuwaiti youths injured in Nuzha fight, one undergoes eye surgery

KUWAIT CITY: A dispute between two Kuwaiti youths in the Nuzha area escalated into a physical fight, leaving both men injured and one hospitalized for eye surgery at Amiri Hospital.

The incident was reported to the operations room following a fight in the area. One of the men later filed an assault complaint at Faiha Police Station, and around 15 minutes later, the other man arrived to submit a similar report. Police officers determined that both complaints involved the same altercation.

Preliminary investigations found that the dispute began at the Nuzha Park parking lot when one man allegedly blocked the other’s vehicle while he was attempting to leave. The argument escalated into a fight, during which one of the men was struck in the face with a metal ring, causing a serious eye injury that required surgery.

The second man also provided a medical report confirming injuries sustained during the confrontation. The Public Prosecution ordered the case to be registered and assigned the General Department of Criminal Investigation to conduct further investigations.
