KUWAIT CITY, Oct 11: The Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) on Saturday issued a call to female citizens holding priority rental housing applications dated 2020 or earlier to update their personal data and submit the requisite documentation.
According to a PAHW press statement, data updates for applications from 2015 and earlier will take place from October 13 to 19, while those from 2020 and earlier will be accepted between October 20 and 26. The appeal includes Kuwaiti women with disabilities who have outstanding rental applications registered with the authority.
The update process is set to be handled at the Citizen Service Department in the Housing Institution’s main building during both morning and evening shifts, while satellite centers at Liberation Tower, Jahra, Al‑Qurain, and The Avenues Mall will operate in the morning shift only.
Required documents for the update include: a copy of the applicant’s civil ID and nationality certificate; marriage contract (for married women), divorce certificate (for divorced women), or husband’s death certificate (for widows); educational certificates for children from the past two academic years; a certificate from the General Administration of Ports for 2023–2025; real estate registration certificates for the applicant, spouse, and children; a commercial registration certificate where applicable; disability certification from the Public Authority for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities; salary certificate; and certification from Social Insurance or the Ministry of Social Affairs.
PAHW emphasized that compliance with these requirements will help ensure the timely processing of long-standing applications and support fair housing distribution across the country.
