Kuwaiti woman shot dead in car

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: A Kuwaiti woman has been shot dead by her relative, while she was in her car with her daughter on the Wafra Stables Road, reports Al-Rai daily. According to a security source, the suspect chased the woman and forced her to stop. He then coolly walked to their car and fired point blank at the mother. Three bullets hit the woman seriously injuring her. The daughter called the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior and police and paramedics rushed to the spot and took the mother to the hospital but she succumbed to the injuries. The suspect who escaped after pulling the trigger is sought by the security authorities. It is not known why the relative killed the woman.
