Kuwaiti woman in police uniform detained for breaking curfew

KUWAIT CITY, June 6: Police have arrested an unidentified young Kuwaiti woman for impersonating police and violating curfew.

A security source said the arrest came when the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a report that a woman wearing police uniform was roaming inside the chalets in the Nuwaiseeb area.

She has been detained at the area police station. During police investigations the woman said she was in the police force and resigned three years ago, but boredom forced her to wander about in police uniform to evade arrest. She also said she did not mean to cause harm to anyone.
