KUWAIT CITY, Nov 5: A Kuwaiti woman accused the husband and his friend of sexual assault. In a complaint to officers at Abdullah Al-Mubarak Police Station, the woman said the husband was accompanied by his friend when they came to the house and sexually assaulted her.They reportedly fled the scene when the woman shouted for help. A case was registered for investigation.Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti woman lodged a complaint with officers at Rumaithiya Police Station saying the husband was threatening to stab her. However, the man denied the allegation when rescue officers went to the scene. He said the wife made the claim due to a minor family disagreement. A case was registered for investigation.Swindler nabbed: A Kuwaiti man wanted by law for swindling compatriots to the tune of KD5 million was arrested near the Ministries Complex. Acting on information that the suspect was sighted in the Ministries Complex, the securitymen rushed to the location where they found him and asked him to present his identification card. When the securitymen checked the suspect’s records, they discovered that he issued dud checks to several compatriots and the amount totaled KD5 million. A case was registered and the suspect was referred to the Public Prosecution. In another incident, an Egyptian was arrested in Farwaniya for violating the Residency Law and involvement in a breach of trust case.Two caught drunk: Public Security Men apprehended two highly-intoxicated Kuwaitis on the Sixth Ring Road in possession of illicit drugs and paraphernalia. A security source said the two suspects were high on liquor when officers from public security sector stopped them for checking on the Sixth Ring Road. The officers recovered three sachets containing illicit substance, including narcotic pills and tools for consuming drugs. They were referred to Drug Prosecution.Various crimes: Three citizens and five Arab nationals were apprehended for various offenses. The citizens were wanted by law for financial offenses involving KD 2,000, KD 260 and KD 400 respectively, while all five Arab nationals had violated residency law. They were referred to concerned authorities. Meanwhile, two Asians were nabbed under the infl uence of alcohol and in possession of illicit drugs in Mahboula area.
