KUWAIT CITY, Jul 17: A 40-year-old female Kuwaiti citizen has been detained by an investigator pending further investigation following an incident in Salmiya. The woman filed a report with the Ministry of Interior, claiming she had been run over by an Indian lorry driver. When police officers arrived at the scene, she demanded they arrest the driver. The situation escalated when she allegedly began threatening, verbally abusing, and physically assaulting the officers. The security personnel managed to subdue her and took her to the police station, where a case was registered against her for assaulting security personnel and filming them with her phone.
