KUWAIT CITY, April 23: The Criminal Court has handed down a five-year prison sentence to a Kuwaiti individual for charges related to insulting the rulers of Kuwait and the Emirates, as well as the judiciary, and denigrating the Kuwaiti flag. The verdict was reached after the defendant was found guilty of committing these offenses on the Snapchat and X platforms.
