Kuwaiti trap shooters keep their hopes alive

TOKYO, July 28 : Kuwaiti shooters Abdurrahman Al- Faihan finished the first day of the Tokyo Olympics men’s trap qualification in top position with 74 targets out of 75 on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Talal Al-Rashidi was 18th, hitting 72 targets. At Asaka Shooting Range, Al- Faihan posted scores of 24, 25 and 25, and Al-Rashidi marked 24, 24 and 24 in the three rounds of Day 1 qualification , in which 29 shooters competed.

Meanwhile ,Kuwaiti swimmer Abbas Qali will compete in 100m Butterfly race on Thursday ,member of the Board of Directors at Kuwait Olympics Committee Fatima Hayat confirmed. Meanwhile, Kuwaiti athletes Yaqoub Al-Yoha and Modhawi Al-Shammeri continued their trainings at the Olympic Stadium, in preparation for their event on July 30th, she indicated. Hayat stressed the keenness of the Committee to help the atletes achieve their desired goals. Head of the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee Sheikh Fahad Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and members of the Board of Directors visited the players Yaqoub Al- Yoha and Madhawi Al-Shammari during their training session.
