Kuwaiti, Syrians detained in mall brawl

KUWAIT CITY, April 11: The Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of a Kuwaiti and two Syrians, against the backdrop of a stabbing incident that occurred in one of the markets in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area, after it became clear the cause of the incident was a material dispute between the Kuwaiti and one of the Syrians, reports Al-Rai daily.
A security source told the daily the dispute developed and the Kuwaiti ended up stabbing the Syrian with a knife. Another Syrian who tried to intervene to separate the duo also suffered injuries. All the three have been admitted to a hospital under police guard. A case of attempted murder has been filed against one of the suspects.
