KUWAIT CITY, Oct 22, (Agencies): Kuwait's Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Adel Al-Manaa, has issued a decision to suspend the enrollment and participation of Kuwaiti students in select higher education institutions in the United States. The decision is detailed as follows:

Article One: Suspension of the enrollment and participation of Kuwaiti students in the following higher education institutions:

1. Indianapolis University Purdue - University Indiana, for all university levels and postgraduate studies in all fields.
2. City Kansas - Missouri of University, for all university levels and postgraduate studies in all fields, except for the Dentistry program (DDS) at the bachelor's level.

Article Two: This decision does not apply to:

1. Students who were actively enrolled and continuing their studies before the issuance of this decision.
2. Students who have received admission for the first semester of the academic year 2023/2024 at the latest.

Article Three: All texts conflicting with this decision are hereby repealed.

Article Four: This decision is effective from the date of issuance and relevant authorities are to implement it accordingly. It will also be published in the official gazette.

Additionally, the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Adel Al-Manaa, has issued a decision to suspend the enrollment of Kuwaiti students at DePaul University, which includes the following:

Article One: Suspension of the enrollment and participation of Kuwaiti students at all university levels and postgraduate studies in all fields in DePaul University.

Article Two: This decision does not apply to:

1. Students who were actively enrolled and continuing their studies before the issuance of this decision.
2. Students who have received admission for the first semester of the academic year 2024/2023 at the latest.

Article Three: All texts conflicting with this decision are hereby repealed.

Article Four: This decision is effective from the date of issuance and relevant authorities are to implement it accordingly. It will also be published in the official gazette.
