Kuwaiti shooters win ‘bronze’ at Asian Cup

JAKARTA, March 6 : Kuwait National Shooting Team on Monday won the bronze medal in the Asian Rifle/ Pistol Cup 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Kuwaiti Shooters Ali Al-Mutairi and Mariam Razouqi won 3rd place in the 10-meter Air Rifle Mixed Team category. Kuwaiti Shooting Club’s Secretary Obaid Al-Osaimi said in a statement that this has been a tough win after strong competition from the Indonesian and Korean teams that won the gold and silver medals.

Al-Osaimi praised this achievement in this major continental tournament and raising the Kuwaiti flag, and mentioned the Club’s keenness in preparing players for the upcoming qualifying tournament for the Paris 2024 Olympics.(KUNA)
