Kuwaiti shooters bag two silver medals at the Arab Women’s Sports Tournament

SHARJAH, Feb 8 (KUNA): Kuwait’s women’s shooting team claimed two silver medals at the Arab Women’s Sports Tournament (AWST), currently underway in the UAE emirate of Sharjah and running until February 12.

Mariam Rzougi secured second place in the individual air rifle event, while the Kuwaiti squad also finished runners-up in the team category of the same competition.

The Arab Women’s Club Games, regarded as the largest Arab women’s sporting event to date, feature around 65 teams from 16 Arab countries competing across nine different sports.
