Kuwaiti oil price rises by 34 cents per barrel to $ 26.92

KUWAIT, May 20: The price of a barrel of Kuwaiti oil rose 34 cents to $ 26.92 in trading, compared to $ 26.58 in trading yesterday, according to the price announced by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.


In global markets, US benchmark West Texas Intermediate contracts for delivery in June closed yesterday, up 68 cents, or 1.7 percent, to settle at settlement of $ 32.50 a barrel, while global benchmark Brent crude contracts fell 16 cents, or 0.5 percent, to settle at $ 34.65 a barrel (KUNA)
