KUWAIT CITY, Jul 6: The Kuwaiti Army has announced that the Naval Force will conduct live-fire military exercises over three days, urging fishermen, boat owners and sea-goers to stay away from designated maritime areas for their safety.

According to the Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations, the exercises will take place from Tuesday, July 7, through Thursday, July 9, 2026, between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. each day.

The live-fire drills will be carried out in the maritime firing range located 16.5 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Julaiah, extending to Qaru Island, as well as 6 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Zour, extending to Umm Al-Maradim Island.

The Army called on citizens and residents, particularly those involved in fishing, boating and recreational marine activities, to avoid entering the designated areas during the announced period to ensure public safety and allow the military exercises to proceed without incident.

The Directorate reaffirmed that the precautionary measures are intended to protect lives and urged everyone to comply with the safety instructions until the exercises conclude.
