KUWAIT CITY, Feb 16: Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Culture, Abdul-Rahman Al-Mutairi, emphasized on Wednesday the significance of Expo 965 in nurturing national and Gulf talents within the realm of heritage preservation. Reflecting on its growing prominence over the years, especially aligning with preparations for national celebrations, Al-Mutairi, a co-sponsor of the event, underscored its theme for this year: “feast, homeland, and heritage.” He expressed optimism for Kuwait’s continued prosperity and stability under the guidance of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Al-Mutairi hailed the Expo as a platform to honor the creative prowess of Kuwaiti and Gulf individuals, highlighting its role in fostering human capital investment and overall societal development. He further emphasized Kuwait’s commitment, through the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL), to providing a conducive environment for youth development in collaboration with governmental and non-governmental entities.

The Minister extended his congratulations to the honored youths and extended gratitude to the organizing team and participants of the three-day Expo, which commenced yesterday. Held at Palestine Secondary School in the Al-Rumaithia area, the Expo operates under the joint patronage of Al-Mutairi, Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Feras Al-Sabah, and Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Adel Muhammad Abdullah Al-Adwani.
