KUWAIT CITY, May 18: The Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of a Kuwaiti man on charges of joining a banned organization and promoting it on the Internet, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the suspect is also charged with harming the country’s national interests through his activities by publishing information and recordings on a social networking site promoting the ideas of that group, and also meeting with its followers who planned terrorist acts in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia targeting the military force and the Shiite sect. The prosecution during interrogation has reportedly confronted him with the charges filed against him. The investigations are ongoing.
