Kuwaiti girl attempts suicide on hearing her mom died

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 27: A Kuwaiti girl, who was unable to bear the news about the death of her mother, attempted to commit suicide, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to security sources, the girl was on a trip in Rahya area near Jahra when she learned of her mother’s death.

Out of grief, she stabbed herself with a knife. She was rushed to Jahra Hospital where she received treatment. Necessary action was taken and a case was registered.

Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen in his 20s was shot in his hand during a quarrel with his brothers. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the quarrel in Khairan area, securitymen rushed to the location with paramedics. They discovered that the victim was shot in his hand by one of his brothers during a quarrel about some ongoing issue among them. The victim was referred to the nearest hospital, and a case was registered.
