KUWAIT CITY, Feb 21: The Personal Status Court recently dismissed the lawsuit filed by a citizen to obtain custody of his children by submitting excerpts of the supposed social media conversation between his ex-wife and another man, reports Al-Rai daily. However, the court discovered that the plaintiff fabricated the conversation since he has the password to his ex-wife’s social media account.

The defendant’s lawyer, Attorney Hawraa Al-Habib, argued in court that: “Those who insult and distort the image of the mother of their children should not be trusted in raising the children as they cannot instill good qualities in the latter. How can morality be cultivated by someone who disdains the honor of Muslims?” After dismissing the case, the court instructed the plaintiff to pay the lawyer’s fees amounting to KD800. Meanwhile, teams from the Public Sanitation Department at the Kuwait Municipality branch in Ahmadi Governorate continued the removal of waste in the Wafra Agricultural Area, reports Al-Anba daily.
