KUWAIT CITY, Aug. 5: The Delegated Misdemeanor Court in Kuwait has issued a deterrent ruling against a Kuwaiti citizen, fining him KD 4,000 for violating his son's rights by preventing him from seeing his mother, neglecting his care, and failing to provide his basic needs.
The court found that the father’s actions caused psychological harm to the child and affected his well-being. The ruling emphasized the importance of protecting children's rights and ensuring they receive proper care, emotional support, and a stable environment.
The judgment comes as part of judicial efforts to address cases involving child neglect and violations of family responsibilities, stressing that guardians must fulfill their legal and moral duties toward their children.
